2010/11 in review
- Increase in membership.
- Hosted 6 Business After Hours.
- Lead organisation in hosting the 2011 Taste of the Gascoyne.
- Promoted business education.
- Attended numerous meetings on a diverse range of matters affecting Carnarvon business with Shire of Carnarvon, Gascoyne Development Commission, private businesses, agencies and state and federal government.
- Hosted the highly successful annual Carnarvon Business Awards.
In 2011/12 the Chamber will
- Increase membership to ensure financial sustainability.
- Lead the 2012 Taste of the Gascoyne Event.
- Host the 2012 Carnarvon Business Awards.
- Continue to work with the Taste of the Gascoyne group to develop strategies for local brand identity.
- Maintain our commitment to attend all relevant meetings to ensure the business community's interests are known.
- Promote business education opportunities.
- Promote Carnarvon and Carnarvon businesses through a TV commercial and multimedia campaign.
